Paul Tilley, Midget JV Coach

What is your past football experience?
I started playing football at the age of six for the Glen Allen Rebels. I continued to play football through my senior year of high school. The positions I played were Offensive Guard and Defense Linebacker. After high school, I began coaching at Hermitage High School. During this time, I had the opportunity to work with Shaun Barber and Darren and Jaime Sharper.

How long have you been coaching for the Ravens?
I have been coaching for five years. I started as an assistant coach for the Flag Varsity team. Then I went on as head coach for Flag Varsity. My third and fourth years I head coached the Pee Wee JV and Pee Wee Varsity Teams. I am currently the head coach for the Midget JV team.

Tell us a little bit about your family.
I have been married to my wife, Cheryl, for 15 years. We have two daughters, Jordon and Kelsey. In our free time, we enjoy spending time together. We are very active in our church, Jordon likes to play softball and Kelsey keeps us on the road as she cheers for two teams. 

What is your favorite NFL team?
My favorite team is the Washington redskins!

What is your most used Tilley-ism? What's the saying?
There are so many...Get it, On the hop, Let's go Let's go

Tell us about your favorite thing about coaching for the Ravens. What's your favorite part?
My favorite part about coaching is teaching the fundamentals of football to get the kids ready for the next level. With the help of a great coaching staff, I can achieve this. My coaching staff consists of David Battle, Steve Nixon, Jim Selfe and Mike Tarrar.
